Ghira von Klingsgarten VPG 2

Ghira is our first German import Giant Schnauzer! She arrived at 9 weeks old from Von Klingsgarten Kennels. We had been in contact with owner Rolf Wassmuth for a couple of years, however one thing or another would prevent us from getting a pup! After our D-litter with sire Ascan Von Klingsgarten, we were determined to import a puppy from sister Aica! We were very excited that Rolf chose Kastor von der Villa Klara as the stud for this litter, since we've heard that he is a very strong male! In 2004 Kastor won the BLSP!!!

Ghira is an independent natured bitch with a great balance of prey and defense drives. She also has a pronounced hunt drive and keeps all the critters on the property on the lookout.

Ghira is very energetic which has earned her the nickname "eight seconds" in reference to how long a bull ride is supposed to last. ;) She is a little rodeo queen.

In 2008 she achieved her VPG1 with Ron and was TSB rated "a" or "pronounced"!
In 2009 she achieved her VPG2 with SG rating, and her TSB was rated "pronounced" once again!

Ghira spent the spring of 2008 being a mom for the first time but got back to work with her new handler and achieved her VPG 1 at the SWDA club trial September 20 and 21, 2008. Ghira had another beautiful litter in June 2009 and was back to work preparing for her VPG 2 which she achieved September 19, 2009. Ghira (with Ron Murray) with a score of 90/90/91 and "pronounced" on her TSB! This score was also enough to achieve the High in Trial for the weekend!

Ghira and Degen have been mated for the third time and we expect our H-litter in mid July. Ghira will gently prepare for her VPG 3 with expectations to trial her this September.
