Guntherforst Burga
Born : 21.03.1970
Sire : Tex von Frankenland
Dam: Guntherforst Jasmin

This excellent show bitch was bred in Finland and exported to Norway. She was very important to the breed because from her first litter came a group of influential animals. One of which was Europe's leading sire for many years in the 70's. Burga became a Norwegian Champion before being bred to Bryan von Forell. This combination produced a 6 Champion litter, of which Guy's Hilo vom Norden Stamm was the most significant.
Burga was a nice built animal with a good topline and a nice forechest. Her character was all right and she gained the Br.H.I, a working certificate, compared with Schutzhund I.
It is a tragedy that her first litter was her last, due to a disagreement over breeding rights between her co-owners. The person that was keeping Burga and her full sister in partnership with Mr. J. Kollenberg retaliated irrationally to the dilemma, by having both bitches destroyed at 3 years of age. The photo at right, is after her only litter.
