Liebchen Vom Eichenbaum

June 2, 1996-March 18, 2001

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leibchen Vom Eichenbaum.
Liebchen
died suddenly on March 18, 2001 during whelp.
She was a healthy girl and had a perfectly normal pregnancy. Her death is unexplained. We believe she had a heart attack as she died instantly. Unfortunately she had only whelped one pup before she died. The vet removed the remaining 12 pups, but we were unalbe to revive any of them.
We are grateful that our remaining pup Arrow, continues to thrive!

Liebchen Vom Eichenbaum was whelped at Oak Tree Kennels in Sarona, Wisconsin, by David and Bonnie Sue Lewis.
Ron and I purchased Liebchen along with her half sister Oberin, and half brother Kurt from David and Bonnie last June. We have grown very close to them and there is a tremendous gap in our lives where Liebchen used to be.
The name Liebchen is German for "Sweetheart, or Dear One". Not a truer word could describe this girl. She was gentle and loving. Her favorite things in life was to play ball, or sit under a gentle hand.

She leaves behind a great deal of people who enjoyed her gentle spirit, and a feisty little man who helps ease the ache in our hearts.
