Oberin has produced three wonderful litters for us, her last one at 7.5 years of age with a whopping 17 pups!!! Sadly 4 were not born alive and 2 more were lost in the first week. However, she was an amazing mother to the remaining 11 pups and has recovered her girlish figure quite well!
Oberin is in her permanent retirement home with our wonderful friends Jason and Kara McCarthy! We have reserved the right to have one more litter with Oberin should we decide on a great sire and obviously Oberin maintains her excellent health! So for now Oberin is "semi-retired" and enjoying life with her Dobermann friends Cutter and Danja, her mix breed friend Rupert and her son Ezri! :-) Thank you Jason and Kara for providing this wonderful girl with a great home!

Oberin Vom Eichenbaum was whelped at Oak Tree Kennels in Sarona, Wisconsin, by David and Bonnie Sue Lewis.
The name Oberin is a German word meaning "Mother Superior"

Oberin is a six year old bitch with a happy loving temperament and wonderful drives! She is extremely athletic both in her physique and her attitude. She loves to run and can cover a lot of ground in a short time. Oberin is incredibly fast and powerful in her bite work, she is very confident.
Oberin completed her BH in September, 2004 with an excellent performance! She had never been on a trial field previously, but handled it all very graciously. She truly is a fine lady!
Oberin is the dam of our B-litter, D-litter and our E-litter! She is OFA Good and CERF Normal. Obie has a hard German coat with sparse furnishings.
