Degen is a
5 year old male from our D-litter!
He is an extremely fit and powerful dog, approximately 29" tall
and a lean 85 pounds. He has a thick and coarse black coat with medium
furnishings.
Degen is CERF Normal, OFA Hips Good
and Elbows Normal.
Degen is a very affectionate dog with a willing nature. He lives to
play ball or retrieve of any kind. He is extremely athletic in spite
of his large size.
Degen
is focussed in tracking, responsive in obedience, and fast and powerful
in bitework.
In 2005 Ron
trialed Degen under Gottfried Dildei for his BH, in 2006 under Hartmut
Beckmann and Lisa Little for his VPG A and in 2007 under Ann Dolan
for his VPG 1. In 2008 Degen achieved his VPG 2 under Fred Marashi.
Degen was "pronounced" in his TSB rating. See below for

Degen's calm, affectionate, and extremely stable temperament will
be an asset to any breeding program. His work ethic is unquestionable

"TSB" Evaluation should serve the purpose of describing
a dog's character traits in regards to breeding suitability.
TSB
"pronounced" (ausgepragt) Is given to a dog that shows strong
willingness to work, clear instinctive behaviour, determination in
its performance; appears self-confident, pays undivided attention
and is capable of coping with a severe amount of stress.
