Zeus was rescued at the age of 14 months by Ron. He was on his way to death row! Zeus' first family was very abusive. He finally decided to fight back and was placed in a kennel for his actions. When the money ran out for his keep, he was put up for sale, many looked at him and decided he was too much. Ron liked him but would not pay for him as he may eventually have to put him down himself. Finally the owner allowed Ron to take him, that was almost 5 years ago! A lot of work went into changing this dog from a "bite first ask questions later" kind of guy, to the loving family pet he is now! He did not know how to play, he had no obedience and knew only fear and aggression his entire life. Zeus still does not take to people immediately, but if you have a ball you are his buddy! He is very intimidating so unfortunately not many take to making friends with him, but he has a wonderful sense of humor and great affection for those willing to make the effort.
